It has been approved for 3 NJCCC credits.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cheryl Birmingham, District Clean Communities Coordinator welcomed everyone and provided a review of the activities at&nbsp;Hopatcong State Park and&nbsp;the coordinators meeting at the LHF office. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Tom Tylek, RanMarine Technology Sales Manager, gave a demonstration of WasteShark in Lake Hopatcong. WasteShark is an agile and efficient aquatic waste collector for cleaner freshwater bodies.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Donna Macalle-Holly, Lake Hopatcong Foundation Grants and Program Director, was the guide for the excursion on Lake Hopatcong Foundation\u2019s Floating Classroom.&nbsp;The floating classroom serves as an interactive learning center on Lake Hopatcong, providing a hands-on adventure for learning about the lake.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Lunch and the Clean Communities Coordinators meeting occurred at the LHF office.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-stackable-column stk-block-column stk-column stk-block stk-5acd58b\" data-v=\"4\" data-block-id=\"5acd58b\"><style>@media screen and (min-width:690px){.stk-5acd58b {flex:var(--stk-flex-grow, 1) 1 33.3% !important;}}<\/style><div class=\"stk-column-wrapper stk-block-column__content stk-container stk-5acd58b-container stk--no-background stk--no-padding\"><div class=\"stk-block-content stk-inner-blocks stk-5acd58b-inner-blocks\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"286\" height=\"381\" src=\"https:\/\/news.mcmua.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/WasteShark.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3643\" srcset=\"https:\/\/news.mcmua.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/WasteShark.png 286w, https:\/\/news.mcmua.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/WasteShark-225x300.png 225w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 286px) 100vw, 286px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-stackable-heading stk-block-heading stk-block-heading--v2 stk-block stk-bc639db\" id=\"strong-speakers-strong\" data-block-id=\"bc639db\"><h3 class=\"stk-block-heading__text\"><strong>Speakers<\/strong><\/h3><\/div>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>JoAnn Gemenden, NJ Clean Communities Executive Director, provided updates on NJ Clean Communities programs.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Donna Macalle-Holly, Lake Hopatcong Foundation Grants and Program Director gave an overview of the foundation\u2019s educational programs.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Tom Tylek, RanMarine Sales Manager, \u00a0provided coordinators with information about purchasing a WasteShark or scheduling the use of a WasteShark with \u00a0RanMarine\u2019s Three Day Bundle. \u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Michelle Hatfield, Program Support Specialist, NJDEP Water Ambassador Program, talked about the various \u00a0ways Water Ambassadors can help educate the public about the environment.
